t has been concluded with success and satisfaction of all the international delegates attended by the GMA Telematics Symposium held in Turin (Italy) on October 21ST, 2010.

The event, co-hosted this year by ARC (the association representing the major European car clubs) and AAA (the most representative of the United States Automobile Club of America), brought together leading members of the world drivers' associations to discuss and define future strategies for the sustainability of global mobility, with particular attention to the development of telematic services and technologies applied.

The meeting was designed to facilitate the exchange of information and it has been an opportunity to identify actions to face common challenges of road transport and mobility in general and to design potential collaboration opportunities. The safety of passengers, the logistics of goods, the reduction of accidents and related social costs will be the focus of the discussions.

In this context they were presented and analyzed the solutions already adopted by some organizations and were assessed for the adoption of those deemed most effective and cutting-edge shifts to ensure faster, efficient and secure for people and goods in the coming decades.
